"Stargazer" is Lily Wilson's third independent CD; and is the result of her recent collaboration with producer, Mark Browne ( bass player for Melissa Etheridge and Paula Cole.) Much of the inspiration for the album's twelve new songs came from Lily's solo trip through South America. There is a latin influence that can be felt throughout the album- especially in the two spanish tracks, "Nada Para Mi," and "Trabajar." But mostly, the songs reflect a deep sense of adventure and self-exploration. "I'm very proud of this record, and it feels more like me than anything I've ever done." Lily had the golden opportunity to co-write with a few of her favorite artists like Debra Davis on "Heavy Heart," Susie Hug on "Morning Light," and Mark Browne on "I Listen to You." A brilliant group of all-star musicians graces the tracks of "Stargazer," giving shine and groove to Lily's honest lyrics. This album gracefully leads the listener through a full spectrum of moods while never loosing it's compelling momentum.
