This album was nominated for a Grammy in 2008 in the Contemporary World Music category. It is an excellent combination of traditional Mediterranean / Middle Eastern songs, well chosen cover songs and a few original songs - all performed with both traditional Middle Eastern and western instruments. Vocals are in both English, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi and old Gaelic.
