livin' in a ball factory

Carolynn Black's second album, livin' in a ball factory, was released at Bleecker Street's famed The Bitter End on December 4th, 2004. The title is an homage to the Spalding Factory she lived in with her husband in Brooklyn, NY. Produced by Ms. Black and her bass player, Dean Zucchero, the album was recorded with members from The Blues, The Healers, a few special guests, and includes a couple of blues originals, a garage-rock-punk-dance around-your-apartment-love song, a swingy-waltzy ode to Amsterdam, some intimately personal pleas, and a four covers - in honor of some of her musical heroes.
