Do They Blame Us?

Esther plays, she sings, she frollicks and flings. Contradiction of quiet and unpretentious to flustered and smug. Of attentive and sincere to recklessly provoked...and all laced with softly sarcastic humour. That about sums up her music, and consequently her. Her debut album, "Do They Blame Us", recorded at Fortress Studio's in London, is a mix of folk, pop, choir and acoustic mayhem. Of temptation, loss, ardor and reservation. A tidy little mix of acoustic guitars, electric hums, pianica (bowed AND plucked), appalachian dulcimer, banjo, bodhran, glockenspiels, variety of percussions, 'proper mature' instruments and a friendly choir who can sing, all thrown together with well instructed mayhem. May the mayhem continue...
