When Ifdakar finally headed into Appleton's Rock Garden Studios in the winter of 2009-10, they were armed with an arsenal of material that had been road tested and polished over the course of several tours. The result is 'On the Edge', a ten track compilation, of sorts, featuring some of the fan favorites that have made Ifdakar the band they are today. Songs like Kool Aid Man, Larry the Emu, Time and Drive bristle with the energy of a live performance in addition to being sonically well mastered in the process. Recorded in just under 24 total hours, 'On the Edge', while obviously well produced, definitely has the feel of a live album. And that's just the way these guys like it!
