This album is an inner searching and outer expression of the width of human condition. It was once said "You create in your life so that you can recognize yourself." It is certainly true. On this third album, Ray begins with a basic uplifting rock song to grab the user's attention, and then continues on through various styles and textures. Some are down trodden, reflecting on loss or a life disturbance, but always returning to hope and upliftment. The songs were written in the studio, based either on certain sounds or intricate rhythms. This album comes at turning point in Ray's growth, and the uncertainty but determination certainly shines through. The two last songs appear to be the most revealing, falling into that part of the human psyche where self-doubt and self-wonder converge. This in itself is a fascinating journey of one musician's particular change of life.
