Born in Detroit, Michigan, and growing up in Sacramento, California, I am a songwriter influenced by Gospel, Motown, R&B/Soul, Pop, Folk, Jazz, Dance/House/Disco and Rock music from an early age.
 
Let Yesterday Be Gone is the first ballad I composed while working as a professional word processor and living in New York City, about putting negative life experiences behind oneself. 

The inspiration to compose Love Lifted Me comes to me from out of living spiritually upbeat with a reflection of how I also feel about what life was like to grow up in Sacramento.

I've Got to Make a Love Call comes to me as upbeat inspiration with having those special people in my life in my heart, no matter the distance between us to connect to.  This song is also a reflection of what dance, disco and house music has been to inspire me over time.
