I am a vocalist first, but I also play drums, guitar, bass and I do some producing. I am a classically trained Oboe player with some skill on Bassoon, Clarinet, English Horn and most other woodwind instruments. I have been in the music business since 1986, when I joined the band Faces of Emotion. Faces (for short...or FOE) put out a number of albums on different private labels and garnered much critical acclaim during its' tenure on the Chicago music scene.

Since then I have done freelance writing and performing and plan to hook back up with Faces keyboard player Phyllis Sanchez (who can also be found here on Broadjam!) to begin writing new material.

Well the Faces of Emotion 20 year Reunion Show was a great success! It was great seeing everyone again, especially Phyllis whom i always considered a genius on the piano anyways...hehe! I had such a great time out in Phoenix and can't wait for the next one which hopefully will be in Chicago (our old stomping grounds). I will keep you informed!

About Me!

Where to start...I reckon at the beginning right? hehe ok then...

I started out as a classical Oboist in my school days, got interested in rock and roll when The Go-Go's hit the music scene and showed me that yes, even women could play their own instruments! So from then I embarked on learning to play guitar, never really took lessons...learned almost everything by ear. I taught myself bass and drums also as the years went by. I hooked up with Phyllis Sanchez and Mary Godfrey who were looking for a guitarist/Vocalist for their band Faces of Emotion, which I joined and had a great run with! 6 years of playing gigs with those awesome gals was the best times I have ever had in my life as I look back on it now.

We recently had a 20 year reunion gig in Phoenix, AZ and it was a great success! So wonderful to play with the gals again...and catching up on everything that has been going on in our lives since then!

So now I don't really play much, but I do write occasionally when I get the chance, and play for a benefit or at a jam if asked. This site will be to showcase my musical talent that still survives to this day...and maybe if i get a good offer, I would play again :)

Videos from the reunion gig for FOE will be uploaded if Mary EVER send sme the copy she promised me! Ok until then, i will upload more songs as I find them on my old tapes.
