hello concrete man, thank you for adding my duet version of Dirty Mama to your list, I'm flattered buddy, many thanks, all the best Warren Hein
Thanks for your review anyway, although I appreciate the perspective of the recording side of it, I don't think your critique was clear enough in explaining your thoughts on why you say for instance "Lacks Originality". Is it because you view bad recordings themselves as non-original, or is it because the song isn't original, that it sounds like something you've heard before. Your review is appreciated, but if you're going to critique a negative point, then please explain the reasons for the critique point. You correctly explained the bad recording...thanks for that. You didn't explain the critique for the other points, both good and bad. I look forward to your next review of one of my songs. Thanks.
I thought I was clear. But really, if I cannot hear a word you are saying, how could I judge it for originality? No offense intended at all. Without hearing THE SONG I cannot rate any aspect of it.
Well, firstly, to say it's a bad recording is a good point, and is something I'm very clear with, as I unforunately don't have the means to do any better. Secondly, to clarify the "I cannot hear a word you are saying" is great, as now I know that you can't "hear a word I am saying". Thanks for your critique.
As an afterthought, how can you even critique "lacks originality" then if you don't know what I'm saying? Do you listen to mumbling often? lol
Dude.....
All good man. I appreciate your points, but the whole reason I said other stuff is that the explanation wasn't clear man. There isn't offense taken, but the point I'm getting at is just on the critique wasn't clear, nor defined, but still, I appreciate it. Seriously, two things. 1) Thanks for bothering to put the effort in, in the first place. 2) I DO appreciate the perspective of the bad recording, although this isn't something that will change unless finances change (and therefore, that is good reason for "bad recording" critique), and 3) I hope you continue to give critique for me and for others, but just want to show that sometimes what is said isn't clear to the artist/songwriter, and when the opportunity arises, we ALL (such as me and my bad recording) need to be shown what parts might need work.
Thanks for reviewing "Never Let Her Go"... much appreciated. best regards Tony
