The opening acapella idea was a good one, lead vocalist had a good voice, good guitar player but....

Sounds kinda like Humble Pie. Excellent 70's feel. Hopefully the band have a few instrumentals in mind; this style of rock isn't at it's top form without some serious jamming! Throw a full minute guitar solo (or and several minute lead/bass jam) into this piece would be my only suggestion. Beyond that, outstanding!
