Story Behind The Song
About the birth, life, and future of my sons.
Song Description
When I was thinking one day I was overwhelmed with images of my sons and their birth, growth and what they were becoming, had become already, what they might become in the future and how it effected me. I projected that image through my life and death and into life after death and came up with this song.

Lyrics
Welcome to my world I'm so glad your here
And I hope you'll always stay.
It's a long hard trial, still I see you smile
I will help you all the way
So much to live for, but I'm so afraid
When I see what you got coming your way
But you're not cryin', only tryin'
To get by and to grow free
So you're older now, but still so naive
And you're seein' how they lie
Tried to teach you well. Only time will tell
Can you endure the hell outside.
Go with my blessings; be strong and be wise
Please keep your honor your most precious prize
Well you fought your fight and your time is through
You regret what's left undone
Still you know it's time. You will soon be gone
To a better world beyond.
You never had wealth no fortune or fame
But you kept your word no reason for shame
My son I love you. I'm proud of you.
I'm here waiting for my friend.
Welcome to my world. I'm so glad you're here
And this time will never end.
Welcome to my world.
