Story Behind The Song
I was at a youth event back in '02 and I heard a beat by the drummer. So as I was listening to the beat, I felt led by the Holy Spirit to write a chant (also could be considered a hook) that just stuck with me. So 5 years later I knew I wanted to make this apart of my album Poetic Praise, which is life's stories once overcome, resulting in Praise to God.
Song Description
The song was inspired by the determination to overcome negative things said to hold me back. Many people have said things about me, to me, so this song was inspired to be my fight song to overcome that negativity.
