Hello Ligia, Are you an Edgar Alan Poe fan by any chance? One of my favorites he wrote is a short story called Ligea, a beautifuly woman, too, but Poe spelled her name a tiny bit different than yours. I have also written several poems about Ligea, using Poe's style. ph well, hope you are doing grerat. Ron Wilson aka Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet.
Excellent song!I love it.
Thank you for listening to my song and rating it with 5 stars

www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CvvKQMC9zE Hello If you have time check out my new recording. New songs coming out next week. Feel free to share or leave a comment. Have a good day!
It is obvious to me that I should just click the 5th star before even listening... all you need is promotion, the market for these songs is wide open, you just have to find the right door. I love the music, as well. Just do it.l
Thank you so much for your words. Yes, I did read Poe when i was a late teen. Loved it...
Shared to GB Gg etc The lyrical genius of Edgar Alan Poe becomes somewhat real in nearly all of Ligia's lyrics, especially one title of THE DREAM, but this song, MAMA would probably be more accepted by most people who have lost their "MAMA" including myself. The cello in the midst of the lyric really adds a crust of beauty, as cello usually does, I use it a lot myself. While Ligia spells her name Ligia, it is what attracted me to her music because of its closeness to spelling of the Edgar Alan Poe name, LIGEIA, the dark haired beautiful Poe lady I have written lots of poetry about. This is poe like substance lyric writing at its best.
The genius of cello, albeit MIDI, certainly adds to this also Poe sounding lyric, the musical guitar solo takes it into another plane, FANTASTIC work here as well.
We can always hope for it, but in reality, it will never happen. Another 5.
Incredible. I have listened 3 times, each time I become more convinced that you certainly must have read Edgar Alan Poe's immortal short story, LIGEIA. It comes through in every line you have written in this song, If you have not read it, then the only other possibility is that Poe has connected to your mind, much in the same way he has helped me write many of my own. Another beautiful poet, MAYA ANGELOU, read some of my early poetry, she liked it enough to suggest that I study Poe and his technique, she also gave me several other poetry writing tips over a few weeks of working with her.
Your name, Ligia, is so close to one of my favorite Edgar Alan Poe Characters, (Ligeia) which I have written some of my own poetry about. I clicked the Dream first, and shall listen to the rest, I give DREAM a 5 because of its poetic feeling and much like some of Poe's work itself. Good work. LOOKING FOR LIGEIA The last of feigning death, love now abides, tuberculin, infectious, inside her breast. She breaths emotion where your hope now hides, and clings to what Melpomene knows best. Dear tragedy of love, deep in her eyes, to love we die, or never love one bit. Your soul--once doomed to Hell--see now it flies renouncing every hope of ending it. Consuming as is love, the hate must flow, each seething, creeping, loathing will to fly, amongst what hope is left, one thought will show; to know the deep of someone, one must die. All of your will, which dieth, less for cause, has ended short of knowing who she was. © ron arbuthnot aka ron wilson aka veebdosa the doylestown poet
