J- Check out this dude! He is the young version of me! http://www.broadjam.com/artists/home.php?artistID=85813 1
Love I'll Be Coming for You. Nick sent me over here to check you out. Awesome voice, love the style. I'd actually like to do a track or two with you if you're interested! Shoot me a message.
Yeah, I'd love to! I really enjoy your sound.. especially See You Again. Great song!
We both would like to record a track as we love your voice, and I told Jay we could be the 21st Century Velvet Underground: You as Nico, Me as Lou Reed, and Jay as John Cale. All 3 went on to Super Stardom, but were best as a team. With the Internet, we can put it together remotely. So far I have done NO MORE with Jim Pearson (check him out) and YOU DO ME with the Mighty Vic (6-pack leader) and Jim Pearson on Clay Drum. I am hoping it gets even easier when we all get to the Other Side, loose our egos, and Sing for the Love of God! Let's set 2012 on its Ear! - Nick
Hey, Nick, thanks for recommending this, it's really great music! Xenia, I love your voice too... and your golden picture! :)
Nick, Another great recommendation.. Thanks. Xenia awesome vocals and great lyrics, keep doing what your doing. ASOH
Jay, Sinking Ship is Brilliant, Lad! And just lurking on top of the Top 10 (where it belongs). You are a rare bird, mate! Sending you a Friend request for we are living on the same street of Pain. - Nick
Thanks a lot! Glad you like it. Nifty little piece of trivia on that one. We recorded the vocals on that using two mics, one of which was an old ribbon mic that was owned by a science museum. The last person who had given a speech through it was Albert Einstein haha.
Just posted up a new track, a tango no less! Take a listen if you have a second and let me know what you think! Thanks!
Like it! The drums give it a rocking dimension
Thanks! I was quite partial to them myself. It makes a decent stand-alone tango, but the drums just sell the idea of "drink me, I'm an alcoholic product". The groove is fun at least :P
Thank you for the excellent review!
Hi Vince, As I was going through my reviews I noticed you were from Hampton Roads. I hve friends down there and was priveleged to Hampton. beautiful area. I almost moved there. My friends owened Sam's Supper Club and Marina and lived in their 100 year old home there. Every winter I wish i had moved there, but family brought me back to Minnesota Thanks for your kind comments. How do you like it tere?.
Thanks for the note, Richard. We like it here a lot--the winters are fairly mild (typically one or two light snowfalls each year), schools and neighbors are good, lots of water all around, historical sites, city life, etc.
Incidentally, my son lives in Newport News, I am in the area frequently. Small world!
