Story Behind The Song
Growing up in an average American household I have witnessed first hand the false hope that the American dream or "American way" has presented to this generation. You cannot simply go out and find the dream anymore. It has disappeared overnight and something more meaningless has risen in its place: Corporation. R.Y.A.N. is not an anti-American song, but rather a wake up call to us all. Stop lying to yourselves that working a 9 - 5 job is the only way. That working for some big corporation is going to make you a better person, because it doesn't. We teach our children that we are not people but a nine digit number. We are so much more than this "American dream." Wake up!
Song Description
An anthem for the one's left behind as we build the American dream. America is a person, not a business. A realistic display of the day to day mundane world of the average American citizen. Live out your dreams, make a difference, start a revolution!
Is this Anti-American? No. Do I believe that America is Anti-American? Yes. We've now become okay with corporations running our country. These are wealthy people who do not care about your dreams. America is a person, not a business. America is RYAN. And R.Y.A.N. will fight back. It was purely coincidental that the words "remember you're a number" spelled out someone's name. But it was at that precise moment that I realized that this was bigger than me. Bigger than us all. Fight for America and make it yours!

Lyrics
We're working all these hours for someone else's dream
We're falling like stones, drowning in the stream
We all have something that keeps us in this line
When do we say it's time to leave it all behind
You don't have to live your life like this
You can walk away anytime you wish
They may all say that you need to stay
You don't have to live the American way
Chorus:
Remember you're a number and nobody loves you
Remember you're a number and nobody loves you
You are just a nine digit number in this world
And that's what we teach our little boys and girls
We're giving al our lives away for someone else's time
We're breathing in their fire and punished for their crimes
We all cry for change while we stand in this line
When do we say it's time to leave it all behind
You don't have to live your life like this
You can walk away anytime you wish
They may all say that you need to stay
You don't have to live the American way
(CHORUS)
I remember that I am a number
But I know the people here will
Fight
Let's start this revolution
Tonight
Remember you're a number and nobody loves you
Remember you're a number and nobody loves you
You are just a nine digit number in this world
And that's what we teach...
And that's what we teach...
And that's what we teach our little boys and girls
