Story Behind The Song
It was the night before or of Valentine's Day when my boyfriend at the time decided that going to a bar and getting hammered drunk was a better idea then keeping plans with me. Not telling me where he was going, never showed up to my house as planned. I was in the kitchen, on my cell, crying, asking him why he was doing what he was doing. I fell to my feet, crying my eyes out, wondering where we went wrong.

Lyrics
Hey my love, is there anything that you, couldn't see?
And I wonder, if you've always had it out for me.
There's an isolation of contemplation...
I can't seem to stop thinking. Mmmm
Honesty, they say, is the best policy,
And that's why I've always felt that you were meant for me!
But how can something, that's grown to be so big,
At times make me feel small?
Chorus:
I don't wanna, feel like this, anymore!
Bare feet, I've fallen, take a seat,
Now I'm cryin' on the kitchen floor!
Cell phone in my hand, why can't we understand,
Where each others coming from...anymore?
Independence, you want for the both, of us.
Equality, baby, I need your trust!
But enough is enough, how can you expect me to stay,
In love, when you're causing so much pain?
Repeat Chorus
Bridge
Consider, for once me, leaving you.
I wonder, the effect that it would have on you?
Just for once, what I would give, for you
To feel like this.
