Reminded me of Fungus Amongus meets 311. I dig it!
Instruments sound great good lyrical content.
Sweet and different! Great loops? These days it´s hard to tell. But I like it either way. Reminds me of a blend between Level 42 and Gino Vanelli.
Love the breakdown and the instrumentation.
Great tune. Unique melody and lyrics. Nice groove
I really liked the saxophone section in the middle. It came as a nice surprise. I like the singer's tone too. The guitar was a nice touch too.
Great instrumentation. Great syncopation. Point made Great solo's. Drum's also.
YES Thanks for the surprize! Many good tricks here! Goot ending my friend!
Great piece, love with the horn comes in...and how you work the guitar as it surfs along. If you had horns thourhougt it would make me think Chicago.
Nice. Reminiscent of the sound of some of the organ-and-sax funk bands of the 70s and 80s, and before that James Brown and the JBs. Funk is all about the groove and the band clearly establishes that, and keeps it rocking throughout the recording. Great driving organ and strong interplay between the rhythm-section and the horns. The saxophone solo was outstanding. The vocalist's phrasing fit perfectly into the groove, and added to the overall power of the song. The quality of the recording was polished, and it sounded well-balanced when listening with headphones.
Really cool overall feel to this track. Great mix. Really good guitar work. And the sax adds a really nice touch. Really good riff. Very smoothly flowing tune. Great job.
nice flow, chill and relaxing. liked the switch up, especially at the two minute mark.
sounds real laid back, very chill, kinda jazzy.
I've got no problem with the instrumentation at all. You're all obviously 'players' and if you're not 100% then its beyond my playing abilities to know otherwise. Stylistically i first thought Steely Dan (for about ten seconds) then Prefab Sprout, followed by Aztec Camera (the main one i think). When the jazzy funk bit comes in i'm reminded of Jameraquai and you even manage to squeeze a little Lynnrd Skynnrd type guitar lick for a few seconds. It's quite a musical journey you take the listener on and all within the space of 3 minutes! The overall feeling i got by the end was a highly enjoyable listen and a sense that you're having a really good time playing it. Well done!.
