Story Behind The Song
Not sure what made me want to do this song. All I do know is that I am currently recording vocals however, I never in 1 million years thought that this would be the song that the vocals are giving me such a hard time lol. So if I continue to be unsuccessful with it, it will just be an instrumental.

Lyrics
Currently, the song is an instrumental, however, I plan on recording the vocals. And this will be my take on the song by Billie Holiday strange fruit.
Strange Fruit
Southern trees bear strange fruit
Blood on the leaves and blood at the root
Black bodies swinging in the Southern breeze
Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees
Pastoral scene of the gallant South
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth
Scent of Magnolias, sweet and fresh
Then the sudden smell of burning flesh
Here is a fruit for the crows to pluck
For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck
For the sun to rot, for the tree to drop
Here is a strange and bitter cry
