The world can be a very crazy place, especially transitioning out of a year long pandemic. People just want to feel free and empowered. We created a story in this song around a person that is searching for meaning and finding their voice. In this song 'Set You Free' I am talking to this person to try and bring hope and comfort that anything is possible. "We wanted an upbeat jam but based off of what was on Autumn's mind/heart that day we were naturally going to write a song that had some depth as well. I also have to mention how much of a journey it was with this song because a huge storm hit right after we finished writing on the first day and took out all the power at the studio. We finished writing some lyrics as well as tracked some guitars over there too. Overall it's generally a simple song production wise and the true bones lie in the honest lyrics to the tune of a modernized 80's dance jam." Says producer Austin Shawn.
