My Sunshine

Story Behind The Song

I actually wrote this song for my grown daughters' birthday. I fell in love with the concept behind the lyrics. I made minor changes to the lyrics to make it fit different situations and to hopefully make it less subjective.

Song Description

The singer tells their longtime lover/partner that after all the time passed that their feelings remain the same as always. That nothing has changed despite anything that may have put doubts in their mind. Also in an indirect manner apologizes for any and all shortcomings they may have had in the past.
