My brother and his wife just bought a big ole fancy house and filled it

up with fancy things. He drives a new SUV she wears designer clothes and

has a lot of gold and diamond rings. He's got a real nice fishing boat but he

never takes it out. He tells me that he never has the time. Cause he works a

lot of hours just to keep up with the bills. The way he talks he never has a

dime.

Why do some people think that the good life is measured by how much

you own? When the cost to get it all and keep it means you gotta work

your fingers to the bone. And there's no time for yourself or your family. It

My wife and I are happy on our little piece of dirt. Our house is more than

forty years old. I drive an old pick-up truck, my woman's car ain't new and

her jewelry is a simple band of gold. I work all that I need to. I go fishing

when I can. We don't have the need for the greed. It's true we don't have

everything we want but we damn sure got all that we need.
