Story Behind The Song
Chris Chickering was inspired to write and produce "The Crazy Crazy Ones" after watching the ultra-inspiring, Emmy-Award-winning television commercial: "Crazy Ones," as part of Apple Inc.'s "Think Different" ad campaign. This commercial was created in 1998 by the Chiat/Day ad agency in response to Steve Jobs's request for an ad campaign that reflected the life philosophy he promoted at Apple.

The Crazy Crazy Ones
Written by Chris Chickering and Greg Barnhill. All rights reserved. 2013.
Here's to the crazy ones
Who made their own design
The ones that even when you told them
They'd still draw outside the lines
They are the trouble makers
The round pegs in square holes
And they're not too keen on doing what they're told
But they've changed us for the better, don't you know
Here's to the fighters
The ones who thought too much
The ones that dared to turn their dreams
Into something we could touch
The backroom innovators
Who just wouldn't it give up
The ones who ventured out into the cosmic swirl
Here's to the ones that change the world
SOLO - piano & strings
Here's to the speakers
Who moved our hearts and minds
The ones that went against the grain
Even if it meant their lives
The rebels and the misfits
Who saw the things to come
And made it better living on this earth
Here's to the ones that change the world
Here's to the ones that change the world!
