I got the idea one day while I was just playin my new and first dobro and thought to my self, I finally got a dobro and it made me think of my older brother Ronnie who had passed away a few years earlier but had been my 1st guitar instructor and taught me how to play. Anyway when I said Dobro I thought Dough Bro and said to myself what a cool hook and from there it moved forward. Whitfords General Store is a real place down in Oneco Ct and Hank Thomas Came up with using a place form where we both grew up and together we worked out the lyric.
