Story Behind The Song

Dave Talley once wrote a song titled "Every Time I See A Rose". It was a shelved early on but one day while Dave was in one of "those" moods he got to playing with the song in an attempt to give it some life. He laughingly replaced the word rose with the word pig, and the rest is history. The song has since been performed by Dave on the Antique Record label and by a host of regional entertainers over the years. It was also fietured on Dr. Demento's album of the year in 2000. It is one of Dave's most requested songs at his live appearances across the Heartland.
