Lyrics

I Close My Eyes
By Douglas E. Adair and Fred Barreto © 2004

Verse 1
I close my eyes and I can see
You?re standing right here next to me
You give me strength, you bring me peace
I close my eyes and I can see

Though I may be on my own
Suddenly, I?m not alone

I close my eyes and I can see
You?re standing right here next to me
You give me strength, you bring me peace
I close my eyes and I can see

Verse 2
I close my eyes and I am free
From all the worries troubling me
My fears you calm, my doubts you cease
I close my eyes and I am free

And even in my darkest hour
I find comfort in your power

I close my eyes and I am free
From all the worries troubling me
My fears you calm, my doubts you cease
I close my eyes and I am free

Instrumental Break

Verse 3
I close my eyes and I believe
In love that lives eternally
You fill my heart with ecstasy
I close my eyes and I believe

There?s no need to wonder why
When you have love that never dies

I close my eyes and I believe
In love that lives eternally
You fill my heart with ecstasy
I close my eyes and I believe

I close my eyes and I can see
I close my eyes and I am free
I close my eyes and I believe
I close my eyes, I close my eyes, I close my eyes?
