Very cool jazz contemporary piece. The slap/funk bass forward mix/performance harkens back to S Clarke, M Miller and others. Very solid and soulful track here. The bass and groove are the hook of this piece. The tune has great changes with a few nice twists and turns. The melodies (and lead sounds) are all built around the bass part which is cool. It gives the entire piece a sonic cohesiveness. Great job overall!
