Story Behind The Song
I probably made among my worst decisions this summer in college. In the midst of the downward spiral, I had a moment of clarity that maybe I was the problem, not because I was unlovable, but because I wasn't truly open to receiving love.
Song Description
Have you ever had an epiphany beyond your years but unfortunately didn't have the maturity to actualise it? I had a moment of enlightenment but unfortunately went through a lot more trial and error, error, error before I learned how to wait for love.
?
Again, paying homage to my Caribbean background, this poem is set to a lover's rock reggae beat that is just so smooth and groovy.

Lyrics
Love escapes me
No, I escape love
Love reaches out to me
The more we stretch our arms
The farther we seem to be
My rainbow's end
My four leaf clover
My shangri la
My fountain of youth
My el dorado
Love I can't find you
Waiting for love
Waiting for love
Waiting for love
Though love is before me
Surrounding me,
Love's Calling out to me
It's shouting for me,
Yet Love I just can't see
Love's crying out for me,
It's yearning for me
Longing to be with me
feel it from afar,
Yet Love I just can't see
My rainbow's end
My four leaf clover
My shangri la
My fountain of youth
My el dorado
Love I can't find you
Waiting for love
Waiting for love
Waiting for love
What is wrong with my eyes?
What I want is before me
Wait, what do I want?
That's it! I have no idea what it looks like
I have an image but it doesn't match the substance
I seek.
What does it look like?
Will I ever find it?
Maybe I should just wait
And let Love find me
Maybe I should just wait
And let Love find me
Maybe I should just wait
And let Love find me
In fact I will just wait
And let love find me
