Quite honestly, I just began to think of my own relationship with my wife and how difficult it would be to lose her and have to "move on".

This song is about a man who has lost his true love to death and he is dealing with the fact that no one remembers her the way he does. Despite the support of others, it is difficult to move on, he's not sure if he wants to anyway.
