Story Behind The Song
I was in a bar and was struck by the power of a song to bring people together. I witnessed perfect strangers standing arm in arm, belting out every word of country drinking classics.
It struck me that these songs accomplish much of the same goals as do hymns in the church. Namely to encourage corporate singing amongst friends and strangers alike and to build relationships. A truth our Irish friends have known for centuries.
Armed with my newfound belief that there is a noble purpose to the drinking song, I set out to write a fun, simple, singable Bar Hymn.

Lyrics
Let's All Be Friends
-Jellybean
I'm a man conflicted, I'm a man who's torn
A wayward heart in the eye of a storm
It's prob'ly bad manners to keep leading you on
But you're both so good how can it be wrong?
Well, Beer you're cool 'til Booze comes 'round
Then you temperamental spirits are hard to keep down
I just can't choose, I love both of you
Can't we just call a truce
CH:
Let's all be friends, Let's all be friends
And build a perfect world together where the fun will never end
It will be the place that we go, Y'all be my amigos
Have a drink, what do ya think, Let's all be friends
Well, Jack's my boy and he's here with me
Now don't go cryin' Mr. Beam
My cup will soon be empty and my thirst is strong
can't we all just get along?
The Captain's my mate and my brew is a Bud
Don't scuffle over Stella, fellas spread the love
Don't make me choose, you're all my hooch
I got two two hands to use
BR:
To alcohol- a pal to the downtrodden
The cause and the solution to all life's problems
We all raise a glass and upend the bottom
