Story Behind The Song
The phrase "be there in a minute" kept repeating itself and insisted on becoming an entire song. Bill Bentley, my erstwhile producer, started this "Michael Jackson" vibe and the song found its groove. We'd never done a song in this style before (but how many times have I said that about our collaborations?) so it was a lot of fun to try it out!

Lyrics
V1: Here we are at a fork in the road
Not really sure which direction to go
You've got to make up your mind
Do you bring me along or leave me behind?
Do you want to see or be with me at all? (Honey)
If the answer's "Yes," then you just need to call
Cho: I'll be there in a minute - be there in a minute
I'll be there in a minute - be there in a blink of an eye
Be there in a minute - I'll be there in a minute
Can't wait to begin it - I'm ready to give it a try
V2: You get to make up the rules
You get to choose what we're gonna do
So give it your very best shot (that's hot)
If this is a test, you're gonna pass it or not
Give me a sign if you want me to be with you
I can't read your mind and I don't think you want me to
Cho:
V3: Nothing in life comes for free
But if anyone asks, you didn't hear that from me
I'm one of the fortunate few
Who gets to go where my heart tells me to
I'll be OK with anything that you decide (Honey, baby)
Send me away or say "Come along for the ride"
