Some decisions make themselves and are so obvious that ignoring them is not an option. I'm pretty good at maintaining civility and observing acceptable standards of behavior. But, like anyone one else (except, maybe Mother Theresa) I sometimes just want what I want. The problem arises when that something belongs to someone else. As the song says "sometimes it hurts too much" to keep the door open to an attraction. Then I curse the civility even as I follow its instructions and close the door.
