Story Behind The Song
Thinking about all the events rocking our world today, it occurred to me that sometimes the greatest strength lies in acceptance and kindness. Uncharacteristically the lyrics emerged without a melody but, once that melody emerged, my producer, Bill Bentley, clued in to the bluesy flavor of the song and his instrumental track set the stage for those lyrics and allowed for me to sing in my very favorite style.
