Story Behind The Song
A songwriter whom I respect suggested I might offer some lyrics to a concept he had for a song that described the way he felt about someone. By the time I offered these lyrics, he had already composed his own song, which is 180 degrees from this one, so I grabbed a melody for these lyrics and took the song to my patient producer, Mr. Bentley, who envisioned this folky, acoustic version of a song I had imagined would be a rocking pop song. You never know how a song will develop and I am constantly learning to ride the wave of possibilities.....
