Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song while in a relationship with one of the most important men in my life (you know who you are). I felt he was dismissing me and I wanted to reinforce the fact that I am a woman with needs and capabilities .... so there! I love the swinging tempo of the song and just love singing it.

Lyrics
Speak To Me
V1: Speak to me not as a child
I am a woman who loves you,
Who needs you to need me
To speak to me freely as I speak to you
Speak to me not as a child
I am your friend and your lover
I ask for no other
You for me only and me just for you
Cho: Speak to me like the woman I am
And you will see the woman I am
V2: Speak to me not as a child
I'm standing here hoping
Your eyes are wide open
To seeing me clearly as I see you
Speak to me not as a child
You're in danger of losing me
If you choose to be
Caught up in a fantasy - lost in a dream
Cho:
Bridge: When I was new to love I heard it all
Now the words I need must gently fall
Cho:
