Story Behind The Song
Each year at the Jersey shore, everyone seems to go home on the same day at around the same time and another summer comes to an end. I've always wanted to express the feeling I get when the sun starts to go down on Labor Day afternoon.
Song Description
This is a song about summer...and life itself. They don't last forever so we should take them in while we have the chance

Lyrics
There's not a cloud in the sky
But it don't seem quite as blue
When there's no one on the boardwalk
Or Ocean Avenue
It was like a city street only yesterday Now I can hear the waves breakin' from a mile away
One More Summer one more season
Driftin' away with the ocean breeze'n
You can't get it back
Once it's part of the past
Night is fallin' tide is risin'
One more sunset on the horizon
Makes me wonder what's become
Of One More Summer
Can't forget the moment
When I thought I'd found the one
Seared in my memory
Like the heat of the mid-day sun
I fell in love before the break of dawn
One day I turned around and she was gone
Like One More Summer one more season
Driftin' away with the ocean breeze'n
You can't get it back
Once it's part of the past
Night is fallin' tide is risin'
One more sunset on the horizon
Makes me wonder what's become
Of One More Summer
One More Summer one more year
I can watch it disappear
Or cherish every day
Before they slip away
Like One More Summer one more season
Driftin' away with the ocean breeze'n
You can't get it back
Once it's part of the past
Night is fallin' tide is risin'
One more sunset on the horizon
Makes me wonder what's become
Of One More Summer
