Story Behind The Song
?Embrace? - One of my very first love songs - written at 3 in the morning when I was 15 years old. I had been experimenting in a new guitar tuning when I was suddenly overcome by the emotion inherent in the rolling guitar part that I was playing. The song was finished 20 minutes later. If only each one came that easily! Now, when I sing the song, it?s just as much about spirituality and acceptance as it is about tender first love.

Lyrics
EMBRACE
embrace it, the dark, it's the love of your life
embrace for the love, for the moment
embrace it a side or a part of your life
embrace without thought, without judgement
i'm only as far as you think me to be
i'm only as much as you make me
i'm only an endless possibility
free for the taking
so take me, embrace me
embrace it, the taste, remember the thrill
embrace the settled, the frantic
embrace that face, those sweet lips of such skill
embrace just to know, just to have it
i'm only as far as you think me to be
i'm only as much as you make me
i'm only an endless possibility
free for the taking
so take me, embrace me
i know it's going to be a lonely winter
the coldest ice can petrify any heart
let's embrace this time we have together
or live burning summer fervor while apart
it's a start
embrace it, the fact, the illusion, or both
embrace then let it go quietly
embrace it, the favorite, fleeting fall
embrace, no regret but tranquility
i'm only as far as you think me to be
i'm only as much as you make me
i'm only an endless possibility
free for the taking
so take me, embrace me
