Story Behind The Song
This song is about my thoughts of my grand father and his making it in this life against all kinds of adversities. Us being poor monetarily but rich in heritage and steadfastness. How he chose to deal with it..... how I chose to deal with my adversities through his example.
Song Description
This song was produced by Wes McCraw with Ray Charles in mind in it's delivery. The producer heard this song with all it's instrumentation, strings, bass, guitar and the rest. He then said as he listened "I'm going to strip this song down to you, the piano and the singers. Just raw emotion." This is the result.

Hold On To A Song
Sometimes life get a little rough, and the going gets a little tough, sometimnes I can't see my way, but I know it won't be long
Sometimes I get tire of trying, I get real tired of crying, sometimes I get a little stressed yall, sometimes I get a little stressed yall, wonder when I'm gonna be real Blessed yall, But I know it won't be long.....
Sometimes I aint got no money, you know people will get kind a funny yall, wonder where my friends are at, they can't really deal with that, but I know it won't be long..
Go into vamp, You better hold on to it....
