Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song, "The Richest," in December 2023 in Italy, when my Italian husband, Luca Stricagnli, and I visited his family in Umbria (Perugia) during Christmas. I considered everything I appreciated about him and listed what we had experienced in the past four years of our marriage. Although I thought a love song could sound 'corny' to some people, I aimed to emphasize all vocals and create a harmonious and smooth sound that elevates the song's impact, baked in atmospheric synthesizers, '80s drums, and sharp lyrics. After I had produced the song, it sounded sunny and joyful to me, representing anything that makes a couple unique.
