Lyrics
Heart Burn
Michael Boehnlein/Andrew Roberts
Dark Clouds of doubt and broken dreams followed those two men,
Walkin' down that old dirt road from Jerusalem.
A stranger joins them on their way asking for the news.
They replied, "They've crucified the King of the Jews!
Something about that stranger's voice touched their troubled souls,
And fanned the flames of passion that were growin' cold.
When they stopped to eat that night, they saw when they broke bread,
That they had been with Jesus, risen from the dead!
Their hearts burned when the scriptures were
revealed.
Their hearts burned as they were being healed.
Their hearts burned when Jesus reappeared.
Oh yes, their hearts burned!
That visitation from their Lord made them want to go,
Back into Jerusalem to let others know.
Some of them could not believe, that what they heart was true.
Till the Lord came forth and said, "Peace be unto you!".
Their hearts burned when the scriptures were
revealed.
Their hearts burned as they were being healed.
Their hearts burned when Jesus reappeared.
Oh yes, their hearts burned!
Their hearts burned when the scriptures were
revealed.
Their hearts burned as they were being healed.
Their hearts burned when Jesus reappeared.
Oh yes, their hearts burned!
Oh yes, their hearts burned!
