Story Behind The Song
This song was almost 30 years in the making. My mother made up the lyrics and melody for the first verse when I was a baby and sang it to me. I never forgot it. When I became a father, I developed it into a full song, writing and singing it to my daughter. I got my friend, Greg, to play guitar and bass and I sang the vocals.
