Lyrics
Sky High
© Helen T. Wilber
He was taller than tall,
He was sky high,
A moving mountain
Of controlled emotions
That caused heads to turn.
He had a stern, chiseled face
That spoke loudly
When no words were said.
His giant shadow
Shielded me
From the burning prairie sun.
He was a powerful image,
Looming against the wild blue
Of my Wyoming world.
I peered at him
Time and time again,
In absolute adoring awe.
He was taller than tall
He was sky high
He was my dad.
