There was a movie in the 1990s -"Mr. Destiny" where if the lead character hit the home run his whole like would have changed completely. I think we all have "Mr Destiny" moments in life. "When We Were Young" is about one of those moments, where if the singer would have leaned for a kiss at an opportune moment in his youth, then, perhaps his life would have changed just like the character in Mr Destiny".
