A Thousand Winters was inspired by the personal trials we all face, as well as the challenges humanity has endured. The song reflects the strength it takes to survive through literal and metaphorical winters, drawing on the imagery of humanity overcoming harsh conditions, like surviving an ice age. The message is one of hope, reminding us that both individually and collectively, we've made it through a thousand winters and we can make it through one more.
