Story Behind The Song
I saw whole kernels of corn in some poop at one time and I thought I'd write a humorous song about it (it happened when I was in a weird mood). I got a melody running around in my head and some lyrics and then I starting to have relationship problems. The song ended up serous but light.

Lyrics
Yesterday's Corn
By Roy Liljequist
I was born without any teeth,
Could not walk on my own two feet.
I'd crawl around, for my bottle I would yearn,
That time passed on by like yesterdays' corn.
Yesterday's corn, yesterday's corn,
Times passing through me like yesterday's corn.
Then I got older, I'm teenager now,
And time flew by quickly and how.
My heart was broken; my heart was torn,
That time past on by like yesterday's corn
Yesterday's corn, yesterday's corn,
Times passing through me like yesterday's corn.
Now that I'm older some call me a man,
I once was married got divorced around ten.
I've got two children, stepchild and a lover who I love.
But times passing through me just like yesterday's corn.
Yesterday's corn, yesterday's corn,
Times passing through me like yesterday's corn.
When I die and lay at the wake,
Oh please don't be sad for goodness sake.
But I suppose that some of you will mourn,
And say, "Roy's passed on through just like yesterday's corn".
Yesterday's corn, yesterday's corn,
Times passing through me like yesterday's corn.
I said time's passing through me just like yesterday's corn.
