This song was a personal reflection on a situation I went through in a relationship, I was depressed, trying to take pills to make me happier, felt like I couldn't be myself without causing fights etc.

The main character is in two minds about a relationship, he is hurt all the time and is majorly depressed, he even gets to a point of missing the heartache, he struggles to choose between leaving his partner or staying out of love.
