Story Behind The Song
As the lyricist...I'm a romantic at heart and still believe in true love, in eternal love. I believe that some people are born with an inner knowing that they're fated to meet their love in this lifetime. That's what this song is about, the singer wishes to spill her heart and her secrets to the man who doesn't realize their connection.
The reason I've used the quill and parchment paper is that I wanted to make reference of this love has been existing through the ages, it's timeless without being too obvious about it.
I have her sing about using her blood rather than ink because it's her life force, she's literally giving herself to him, as well as her truth. It's also proof of her faith in their love.
Song Description
A love that has been carried through lifetimes once again makes a return, at least to one of the lover's hearts, while the other is completely unaware. Our singer feels like if she can just a get a letter to him and explain everything, that they've been together before and will be again, that he'll come for her.

Lyrics
Verse I
If I were to write you now with quill and ink
It would be in my own blood
A reminder of my testament
I bled for you and love
On scented parchment
I'd spill my secrets just before
I beg you let me explain
And the words would pour
Pre Chorus
It wouldn't take long to write
I've rehearsed the words a thousand times
But our stars haven't crossed
In a silent while
Chorus
I can not look you in the face
So I must write my words
For you to read
And hope that when you finish
Finally you will see
One loves you forever
And that's always me
Mid Eight
I'm no angel
Not ever been a paper doll
with a paper heart
I'm sure not made of plastic
That can be pulled apart
No my arms are very real
And in them I hope you'll feel
More love than you've ever felt before
Verse II
If I were to scribe you now with quill and ink
It would be in my own blood
A scarlet letter of my confession
I present to you Love
On perfumed parchment
I'll spill my secrets of heart
Begging you to hear me out
Where the words will pour
Pre Chorus
It won't take long to write you
I've rehearsed the words a thousand times
But our paths haven't crossed
In a silent while
Chorus II
I can not look you in the face
So I must write my words
For you to read
And hope that when you finish
Finally you will see
One loves you forever
And that's always me
Ending
Because no one
And I vow no one
Will ever love you more
Love you more
