Story Behind The Song
I got the idea for this song while listening to two females talking about one of them and the bad relationship she has with her man. It was not my place to say anything but writing a song about it gave me a chance to speak without being involved.

Lyrics
Loves not supposed to be so much work
Loves not supposed to bring so much hurt
Loves not supposed drive you to drink
Loves not a chore like some folks think
You keep arguing every day, seems like peace has gone to stay
But still you both keep holding on
Wheres the laughter and the joy, all day drama tends to annoy
Maybe you two should be moving on.
Loves not supposed to be so much work
Loves not supposed to bring so much hurt
Loves not supposed drive you to drink
Loves not a chore like some folks think
You say Black and she says White, everything is another fight
Theres no affection in your hearts
You not speaking and she don?t care, lots tension when you?re there
Could it be time for you two to part
Loves not supposed to be so much work
Loves not supposed to bring so much hurt
Loves not supposed drive you to drink
Loves not a chore like some folks think
When you first came together, you had love for each other
So you vowed for worse or better, while forsaking all the others
But anger siphoned off the love, now all you do push and shove
Maybe time has come to see, that love has turned to misery
