Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song one day while reminiscing about one of my childhood buddies mother. She was a strong womam who raised 13 children all by herself. She often worked 3 jobs to support and feed them. Yet, she was always loving and compassionate. Her children all grew up to be productive and successful adults. I believe it was because they had a "Super Mom".

Song Description

This song has lots of funk overtones. Big slapping snare beats create the funk atmosphere. The vocals are warm and sang in a story telling R&B style. The songs message is about the strength, love and dedication of a mother for her children.
