Story Behind The Song
I call this my "Bluegrass-Karma" song. It is a musical prayer for transformation, transmutation, & transcendence. When life seems too heavy to bear, and we can't seem to find a way out, we want help to remove the darkness and bring in the light. A very uplifting and hopeful song with lyrics that are inspired by the sacred Hindu text, the Bhagavad Gita, yet everyone can relate to the message.
Song Description
Traditional bluegrass melody with unique lyrics that reflect an "Eastern" philosophy of raising one's consciousness above the ignorance of delusion. The themes are familiar--everyone can relate to the desire to let go of the past and hard times, and move into a lighter space. The song sends out a request to the universe to remove the darkness & bring in the light.
