Story Behind The Song
One part personal story, one part timely social commentary. At a time when I felt completely depleted and I had nothing left inside to give, I poured out the pitcher of my creativity and love, and these songs came out, certainly from a deeper source than I realized existed within me. We are challenged by life's difficulties, but we also have kindness, love, and hope, in endless supply, that we can tap into, to boost ourselves up and pass on to others.
Song Description
An upbeat and hopeful song about Resilience...something you may not realize you possess until after you have survived an ordeal. When you think you have nothing left to give, dig deeper and you find a deeper well of inner strength.

Lyrics
Every one of us is sometimes blind
We don't see and we can't hear
Sometimes desire is so unkind
And brings exactly what we fear
I was feeling like a broken bell
I had nothing left inside
Pouring out the pitcher from a deeper well
My cup may look empty, but I've got plenty
You can play your hand like it's all or none
Afraid of losing what you've found
But like the sun shines on everyone
More than enough to go around
What I give away comes back to me
But I'm not bartering a deal
Kindness costs me nothing; love is free
My cup may look empty, but I've got plenty
Maybe nothing in my pocket but my hand
Nowhere I can go but where I stand
No one in this world belongs to me
And from those open spaces I can see
I was feeling like a broken bell
I had nothing left inside
Pouring out the pitcher from a deeper well
My cup may look empty, but I've got plenty
My cup may look empty, but I've got plenty
